In this reporting period, Hiwot Integrated Development Association HIDA revised its programmatic intervention areas and stretched out of Addis to North Shoa Oromia Zone to share its exemplary experience accumulated for the past decade and plus.
HIDA programmatic interventions are revised to four core areas namely, Child Care & Development Program (CCDP), Community Based Health Care Program (CBHCP), Livelihood & Economic Strengthening Program (LESP) and Capacity Building Program (CBP).
HIDA has reached over 15,000 HVC in all target operational areas. Out of the total, 3319 HVC are receiving the service through HIDA North Shoa coordination office.
Through its CBHC program, HIDA was able to reach 8750 beneficiaries in the reporting period. 7100 clients have access for ART. All of these beneficiaries were provided with adherence counseling on a one to one basis or during support group meetings organized every two weeks.
Under the LES program, more than 475 people have got the chance to involve in livelihood and economic strengthening activities. Under the CB program, IDA was provides different training and capacity building activity for more than 600 community representatives and its own staffs.
